How do I authenticate with the Withings API?
The Withings API uses OAuth 2.0 authentication. Requests to the Health Data API require an 'Authorization' header with a 'Bearer' token (e.g., 'Authorization: Bearer <access_token>').
1. Get your credentials
- Navigate to the Withings Developer Portal at https://developer.withings.com/dashboard/ and sign in to your developer account. 2. If you do not have an account, create a new one, preferably dedicated to your organization's integration. 3. Within the dashboard, create a new application by following the provided instructions. 4. Once the application is created, the dashboard will display your unique client_id and client_secret. 5. You can return to this dashboard at any time to retrieve or update these credentials.
2. Add them to .dlt/secrets.toml

How do I set up and run the pipeline?
Set up a virtual environment and install dlt:

1. Install the dlt AI harness:

3. Start LLM-assisted coding:
Use /find-source to load data from the Withings API into DuckDB.

4. Run the pipeline:

This opens the Pipeline Dashboard where you can verify pipeline state, load metrics, schema (tables, columns, types), and query the loaded data directly.
Python pipeline example
This example loads https://account.withings.com/oauth2_user/authorize2 and https://wbsapi.withings.net/v2/oauth2 from the Withings API into DuckDB. It mirrors the endpoint and data selector configuration from the table above:

To add more endpoints, append entries from the resource table to the "resources" list using the same name, path, and data_selector pattern.
How do I query the loaded data?
Once the pipeline runs, dlt creates one table per resource. You can query with Python or SQL.
Python (pandas DataFrame):
