How do I authenticate with the NVIDIA TAO Toolkit API?

Authentication is performed by POSTing NGC credentials to the /login endpoint to obtain a JWT token, which is then included in the Authorization header as a Bearer token.

1. Get your credentials

  1. Navigate to the NVIDIA NGC website (ngc.nvidia.com) and sign in to your account. 2. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen. 3. Select Setup from the dropdown menu to navigate to your setup page. 4. Within the setup page, locate the option to generate or manage your NGC API key. 5. Click Generate API Key (or copy your existing one) to obtain your Personal Key.

How do I set up and run the pipeline?

Set up a virtual environment and install dlt:

This example loads /api/v2/login and /api/v2/orgs/{org_name}/workspaces from the NVIDIA TAO Toolkit API into DuckDB. It mirrors the endpoint and data selector configuration from the table above:

How do I query the loaded data?

Once the pipeline runs, dlt creates one table per resource. You can query with Python or SQL.
