Requests require an Authorization header with a Bearer token for user-specific data, or the X-MAL-CLIENT-ID header for client authentication. Authentication involves an OAuth 2.0 flow to obtain the access token.

1. Get your credentials

  1. Log in to your MyAnimeList account.

  4. Click the Create ID button.
  5. Fill in the required application details (e.g., application name, description).

How do I load only new MyAnimeList records?
