How do I authenticate with the KuCoin API?
Private REST requests require signing with the API Secret using HMAC-SHA256 and Base64 encoding. Required headers include KC-API-KEY, KC-API-SIGN, KC-API-TIMESTAMP, KC-API-PASSPHRASE, KC-API-KEY-VERSION, and Content-Type: application/json.
1. Get your credentials
To obtain API credentials, log in to your account at www.kucoin.com and navigate to the API Management page (usually found in the user avatar drop-down menu under Account or directly via the Security section). Click 'Create API', choose between 'API Trading' or 'Link Third-Party Applications', and provide an API name and a passphrase. Complete the security verification steps (Trading Password, Email Code, and Google/SMS 2FA). Copy the provided API Key and Secret immediately, as they cannot be retrieved again; store these securely along with your passphrase.

How do I load only new KuCoin records?
KuCoin exposes lastId on api/v1/hf/orders/active/page, so dlt can request only the records that changed since the last run. Set it as the cursor_path and dlt tracks the high-water mark for you between runs.

On the first run dlt loads everything from initial_value; on every run after that it requests only what changed and appends with write_disposition="merge" if you set a primary key. See incremental loading.
