How do I authenticate with the Google Calendar API?

All requests require an OAuth 2.0 access token sent in the Authorization HTTP header with the format 'Bearer '.

1. Get your credentials

  1. Navigate to the Google Cloud Console (console.cloud.google.com). 2. Select or create a project from the project dropdown. 3. Navigate to the APIs & Services > Library page, search for "Google Calendar API", and click Enable. 4. Go to APIs & Services > Credentials. 5. Click Create credentials and select API key. 6. In the resulting dialog, optionally restrict the key using API restrictions (select Google Calendar API) and application restrictions. 7. Copy the generated API key string for use in your application.

How do I load only new Google Calendar records?

Google Calendar exposes syncToken on calendars/{calendarId}/events, so dlt can request only the records that changed since the last run. Set it as the cursor_path and dlt tracks the high-water mark for you between runs.
