How do I authenticate with the Citrix Analytics API?
Authentication requires a Citrix Cloud bearer token obtained via client credentials. Requests must include an 'Authorization' header with the value 'CwsAuth bearer={token}' and a mandatory 'Citrix-CustomerId' header.
1. Get your credentials
- Log in to the Citrix Cloud console.
- Navigate to Identity and Access Management > API Access > Service Principals.
- Click Create service principal to generate your Client ID and Client Secret. Ensure you save these immediately as the secret will only be visible once.
- Locate your Customer ID (CCID) in your Citrix Cloud account information.
- Use your Client ID, Client Secret, and Customer ID to request a bearer token via the Citrix Cloud OAuth 2.0 token endpoint: POST https://api.cloud.com/cctrustoauth2/{customerid}/tokens/clients.
- The request must include: grant_type='client_credentials', client_id={your_client_id}, and client_secret={your_client_secret}.
- The response provides an access_token, which is valid for one hour and must be used as a 'CwsAuth bearer={access_token}' value in the Authorization header for subsequent API requests.

How do I load only new Citrix Analytics records?
