How do I authenticate with the Bitget API?
All private REST requests require multiple specific headers: ACCESS-KEY, ACCESS-SIGN, ACCESS-TIMESTAMP, and ACCESS-PASSPHRASE. The ACCESS-SIGN is generated using HMAC-SHA256 of the concatenated timestamp, method, request path, query string, and body, followed by a Base64 encoding.
1. Get your credentials
- Log in to your Bitget account. 2. Click the profile icon in the upper-right corner and select 'API Management'. 3. Click 'Create API'. 4. Select your preferred method (System-generated API Key is most common). 5. Set a 'Note' (label), configure 'Permissions' (e.g., Read-only, Trade), and set an 'API Passphrase'. 6. Optionally, bind specific IP addresses for added security. 7. Complete 2FA verification. 8. Copy and store your API Key, Secret Key, and Passphrase securely; the Secret Key will only be displayed once.

How do I load only new Bitget records?
Bitget exposes idLessThan on api/v2/spot/trade/history-orders, so dlt can request only the records that changed since the last run. Set it as the cursor_path and dlt tracks the high-water mark for you between runs.
