How do I authenticate with the Altium Designer API?

All requests require an 'Authorization' header with the value 'Bearer {access-token}'.

1. Get your credentials

To obtain credentials for the Altium 365 REST API, workspace administrators should navigate to the Altium 365 Workspace, go to Admin, and select Developer. From there, they can generate tokens. Alternatively, for the Requirements & Systems Portal, navigate to Settings, select User Tokens, copy the deployment API address, and click the '+' icon to generate a new token. Tokens are displayed only once upon creation, so copy and store them securely. Tokens act as Bearer credentials for authorization.

2. Add them to .dlt/secrets.toml

How do I load only new Altium Designer records?

Altium Designer exposes updatedAt on api/graphql, so dlt can request only the records that changed since the last run. Set it as the cursor_path and dlt tracks the high-water mark for you between runs.
