How do I authenticate with the Adobe Marketo API?

Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 2-legged flow. All API requests must include the access token in the 'Authorization' HTTP header using the format 'Authorization: Bearer <access_token>'.

1. Get your credentials

To obtain API credentials for the Adobe Marketo Engage REST API, follow these steps in your Marketo instance: 1. Create an 'API-Only' user by going to Admin > Users & Roles, inviting a new user, and assigning them a role with 'Access API' permissions. 2. Create a custom service by navigating to Admin > Integration > LaunchPoint. 3. Click 'New' > 'New Service', provide a name, select 'Custom' as the service type, and assign the previously created API-Only user. 4. Save the service, then click 'View Details' for the new service to retrieve your Client ID and Client Secret. 5. Your REST API Endpoint URL is found in Admin > Integration > Web Services under the 'REST API' section.

How do I load only new Adobe Marketo records?

Adobe Marketo exposes updatedAt on rest/v1/leads.json, so dlt can request only the records that changed since the last run. Set it as the cursor_path and dlt tracks the high-water mark for you between runs.
